How we work together
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual and there isn’t one way to do it. Together we clarify what’s happening in your family and identify the shifts that will bring more steadiness, connection, and ease.
My work weaves together Simplicity Parenting, relational and conflict facilitation work, and many years of working closely with children and families. With a deep understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and the real pressures families carry, I offer guidance that is both practical and respectful of your family’s unique values and lived reality.
Getting Started
We start with a free consultation to explore what’s happening in your family and to answer all of your questions.
From here, some families find that a few months of regular sessions creates the shift they’ve been looking for. Others continue into deeper exploration, especially when navigating ongoing conflict or the deeper layers that parenting naturally brings forward.
You’re not meant to do this alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
My approach blends elements of therapy, coaching, and conflict facilitation. Some parents come for practical strategies and steady support around daily challenges, while others are open to deeper reflection and growth as it naturally emerges. We focus on what will genuinely support your family rather than trying to fit the work into a single label.
-
My work is primarily parent-focused, supporting the adults around a child to create the steadiness and connection that help families thrive. While I have many years of experience working closely with children, I have found that meaningful change often begins by resourcing parents. Even when we meet without a child present, the shifts that happen in parents can have a powerful impact on children who are struggling.
At times, children may be included in sessions when it feels supportive and developmentally appropriate, and we can explore together what would best serve your family’s needs. -
No. Many parents begin on their own, regardless of their current relationship or co-parenting situation. Even when only one parent participates, the work can still support positive shifts for the whole family.
When it feels possible, including both parents or co-parents can be very supportive, especially when navigating differences in parenting styles. But we always begin with what feels realistic and respectful for your family’s current dynamics. -
You’ll receive practical support you can use right away, along with space to slow down, reflect, and understand what’s unfolding beneath the surface. The balance between tools and reflection shifts depending on what your family needs most.
-
Many parents arrive here after reading and trying a lot. Books can offer wisdom, but they can’t respond to the living, changing dynamics of your family. Together we look at what’s actually happening in your unique situation and find shifts that feel supportive, realistic, and grounded in your real life.
-
Many parents reach out at exactly that point. This work is designed to reduce overwhelm, not add to it. Rather than giving you more to manage, we focus on small, doable steps that bring more clarity, steadiness, and breathing room into daily life.
