Family Counseling

They say it takes a village to raise a child for a reason. You shouldn’t have to do it alone. No matter what your family looks like, whether you are a single parent, or two or more people parenting together or separately, I am here to support you with challenges including but not limited to:

  • child’s challenging behaviors

  • conflicting parenting styles

  • stress and self-care

  • creating healthy rhythms

  • relational conflict between parents

  • big feelings

  • navigating screen time and technology

Individual Counseling

Whatever you are going through, I’m here to listen with empathy and curiosity. You deserve to feel heard and understood. People who come to me usually want to go deeper too. They want to grow, to explore the meaning of the troubling things in their lives to move towards self-awareness, self-love, and self-empowerment.

I offer support to people experiencing many kinds of challenges, including:

  • creative/intuitive blocks

  • perfectionism and procrastination

  • addictions

  • disturbing body symptoms

  • life transitions

  • relationship issues

  • inner and outer criticism

  • depression, anxiety, anger, loneliness, grief, and loss

  • childhood wounds

If you feel drawn to working with me, but don’t see your experience in this list, please send me a message, and we can see if we’re a good fit.

Relational Counseling

Relationships can be a source of great joy, connection, and pleasure. They can also be really hard sometimes. It’s okay and healthy to ask for help. It’s easy to get stuck in painful patterns, or come up against challenges that feel too big to handle. No matter what you’re struggling with, I support all types of couples to navigate challenges, and how to learn and grow from them. A few examples of challenges you may be facing are:

  • communication issues

  • conflicts big or small

  • life transitions

  • health issues

Relationship struggles come in all parts of life, not only in our families and romantic partnerships. I support people in any kind of relationship - friends, colleagues, etc. - who are dealing with conflict.

Workshops for Parents

~~~ Coming this Spring! ~~~
I will be teaching Process Work skills for parenting, as well as sharing tools and resources I’ve gathered as a Waldorf teacher and a nature connection mentor. It can be so supportive to learn with other parents to realize you are not the only one with challenges. It can also be a great way to make connections and build community.
Each 2-hour workshop will include a short presentation on a particular theme as well as time for experiential learning in the group, pairs, or individually, a time for questions and discussion. These workshops are most relevant for parents of young children (ages 1-7). Some examples of workshop topics are:
  • screen time and technology
  • nature connection
  • curative storytelling
  • creating healthy rhythms
  • navigating emotions
  • supporting creative play
